San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research

Preserving San Diego County Native Plants

Monday, April 9  6:00 PM - 8 PM

April is Native Plant Month and on Monday April 9, 2018, the San Diego Horticultural Society welcomes three researchers from the San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research who are dedicated to preserving our native species.

Stacy Anderson, Joe Davitt, and Tobin Weatherson will discuss their work at the Native Plant Seed Bank.

Meetings: 2nd Monday of the month  6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Presentations begin at 6:45 PM
Free for SDHS Members; $15 Non-members (pay at check-in)

Stars of La La Land: The Gottlieb Native Garden and Getty Center   

Sunday, March 18  7:30 AM - 7 PM

We’re LA bound! Join fellow SDHS members and garden enthusiasts to visit two horticultural stars of Los Angeles: The Gottlieb Native Garden in Beverly Hills and The Getty Center

Registration includes transportation, entry to and refreshments at the Gottlieb Native Garden, lunch, and snacks and beverages on motor coach (admission to The Getty Center is free). Payment in full upon registering.
